Challenging Times
The last twelve months have been challenging for most, as the economy fell into a recession, values of homes and investments decreased, jobs were lost, and the availability of credit seemed to disappear.
Typical of a recovery, the stock market tends to reach a bottom first. The stock markets saw a bottom in early March 2009. Since then, the market recovery has been fueled by reports about the health of economy, which may be starting to indicate that this recession is coming to a close.
Now is a perfect time to come in for a review of your financial plan. As you may have heard me say before, “I do not own or do anything that will cause me to lose sleep at night for owning it or doing it.” This is called my “sleep quotient” and I recommend we review your financial plan to make sure your plan is still in line with your own “sleep quotient.”
